My Goals and Objectives:

• To provide a loving and nurturing environment where children can feel safe and secure.

• Children’s everyday routines offer rich opportunities for learning.

• To allow children the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the world through the introduction, exploration, and manipulation of ideas and a variety of objects.

• To provide a setting in which children can grow- emotionally, socially, physically, and intellectually- by encouraging children to be curious, ask questions, and discover their own thoughts and responses to the world.

• To promote independence and self-confidence by teaching and encouraging self-help skills.

• To promote an environment in which children can acquire the skills and habits for a life that is healthful, nutritional, and safe.

• The children’s interests, their developmental levels, their primary language, their cultural background, their personalities or temperaments and their individual needs provide important information about the experiences that should be provided, both for a class or group and individually.

• We will capitalize on the children’s interests and strengths to develop new skills which are used in helping to maximize the children’s opportunities to learn

 

 

Family Child Care License #161222:

 In order to provide child care, I have met all requirements according to the Office of Child Care of Maryland State Department. I am licensed for up to 8 children.
