Activities and learning opportunities will be provided that allow children to grow and develop in the areas of Personal and Social, Language, Mathematical Thinking, Scientific Thinking, Social Studies, Music, Cooking, the Arts, and Health and Physical Education.

Infant and Toddler Program (Ages 6 weeks to 2 years)

Our infants and toddlers are offered a variety of opportunities to explore their world through play. Gross and fine motor skills and social skills are developed through both structured and unstructured play. These children are also included in all daily activities. We use a combination of two state approved curriculums which are Healthy Beginnings and Creative Curriculum. We have outside play few times a day. We are a participant of the Food Program and supply breakfast, lunch and snack. Hours are Monday through Friday 7am to 5:30 pm. Additional hours maybe available for an additional charge.

I do not charge for summers for school teachers if there children do not attend.

Preschool (Ages 2-5 Years) Although it may seem like fun and games to preschoolers, the state curriculum standards we follow is packed with educational elements. We use state approved Creative Curriculum. The children will focus on pre-reading skills like phonemic awareness and letter and sound recognition, early writing, foreign language, cooking, basic math concepts, time, social studies, and hands on science exploration, art, music, physical education, and much more. We have outside play few times a day. I am a participant of the Food Program and supply lunch and snack. We follow the Frederick County School Closures and Calendar.

Hours are 9 am to 3:30 pm Monday Thru Friday. This is a 9 month program starting first week of September and ends in May. Summer camps will be available. If you need additional hours that would be an extra charge. I do not charge for summers for school teachers if there children do not attend.

Before and After Care (Ages 5-12 years)

School agers are given a quiet environment for homework and projects, with supervised access to a computer. I am in the Twin Ridge Elementary School district. Also available to elementary students are crafts, games, snacks and physical activities. We follow Frederick County School Closures and Calandar. Children may be able to attend if space is available that day for an additional charge. This program runs during the school year. Summer camps will be available. I do not charge for summers if the children do not attend.

We believe that children learn through play, problem-solving, cooperation, and open-ended activities that expand their cognitive thinking. We will provide needed time to engage, explore, expand, express and evaluate their learning in a fun and creative way. If your child has an (IEP/IFSP) IEP (Individualized Education Program)/IFSP (Individualized Family Service Plan) then please provide the paperwork which would help us help your child in learning.  All children can learn and will be allowed to participate in everyday routines and activities to the best of their capabilities. I go above and beyond our state standards. I strive to make our days fun, exciting and educational at the same time. I am a member of the Family Child Care Association of Frederick County, Maryland State Family Child Care Association and the National Association of Family Child Care. Miss Beth’s Daycare is on Level 3 in Maryland Excels and Level 6 on Maryland Credential. I have taken a Hurricane Preparedness class, CPR and First Aid, and Sids and many more classes. Above all, we will provide love, respect, a safe environment and FUN!

We do follow Frederick County School Closure Calendar for Preschool and Before/ After Care.
